From The Monday Newspaper (Argentina) – On Thursday of last week I was at the 33rd Annual Congress of the Argentine Institute of Finance Executives. I want to tell you what I saw there and why it is important that you know it too. I’m not an establishment economist.
It is true that if ever I am summoned to a television program, or if I have to give a talk, or even if I present my book, as it happened Monday of last week, I do my best to go in a suit and tie. However, that does not make me part of the “establishment”.
I studied Austrian School economics and believe in its principles. For that reason I am not very fond of bureaucratic offices, nor of large banks or large companies – many of which thrive only though their elitist power.
