An Important Twist On Our “Buy Value” Theme

From Fleet Street Letter (GREAT BRITAIN)-

Today… an important twist to the “buy value” theme we introduced in last week’s issue.
First, a quick catch-up…
Last week, we alerted you to what our chief strategist in London, Charlie Morris, called the “ most important investment theme of 2016.”
After seven years in the wilderness, value stocks – those selling at low prices relative to earnings – are starting to outperform growth stocks – those selling at higher earnings multiples.
And Charlie reckons this new trend toward value has a long way to run.
The Rise of Value
It certainly is a major shift. Over the past 10 years, growth stocks, as measured by
the S&P 500 Growth Index, rose 122%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Value Index only rose 60%… making it a “lost decade” for value investors
