For a lot of people, the thought of China surpassing the west, particularly the United States, in anything that’s got to do with technology is still difficult to fathom.
To a great extent, much of China’s present-day industries came about by copying technology from more developed nations.
They like to term it “transfer-of-technology.” In the States, it’s nothing short of patent and copyright infringement.
From solar panels to nuclear power plants, automobiles to commercial jetliners – yes, they copied a tremendous deal.
Fifteen years later, Chinese are now exporting cars, vans, and trucks to other countries by the hundreds of thousands.
But if there’s one industry in China that’s already on the launching pad for eclipsing its global counterparts, it has to be mobile communications.
